Als Senior IT Systems Engineer / DevOps Engineer gestaltest du die Weiterentwicklung unserer Plattformen und Infrastrukturen und trägst maßgeblich zu einer sicheren, skalierbaren und zuverlässigen IT-Landschaft bei. Du konzipierst, entwickelst und betreibst moderne Plattformen und Infrastrukturen und sorgst dabei für Zuverlässigkeit, Sicherheit und Skalierbarkeit in unserer gesamten Technologielandschaft.

Deine Aufgaben

Als Senior Frontend Developer bei assona prägst du maßgeblich die digitalen Interfaces unserer Versicherungsprodukte und bringst deine Expertise in unser Tech-Umfeld ein.

• Du betreibst und entwickelst unsere Linux-Plattformen, Container-Umgebungen und Cloud-Infrastrukturen kontinuierlich weiter und setzt dabei moderne Observability- und Monitoring-Lösungen ein.  
• Du arbeitest eng mit unseren Softwareentwicklungsteams zusammen, um Build-, Deployment- und Betriebsprozesse über den gesamten Software-Lebenszyklus hinweg zu automatisieren und zu optimieren.  
• Du entwirfst und implementierst skalierbare Plattformarchitekturen und treibst Verbesserungen in den Bereichen Zuverlässigkeit, Sicherheit und betriebliche Effizienz voran.

Dein Profil

• Mindestens 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Platform Engineering, Systems Engineering, DevOps oder in einer vergleichbaren Position.  
• Fundierte Linux-Kenntnisse sowie ein solides Verständnis von Netzwerk- und IT-Sicherheitsgrundlagen.  
• Praktische Erfahrung mit Kubernetes, Docker, Cloud-Plattformen (idealerweise AWS), Infrastructure as Code, Automatisierungs-Frameworks und CI/CD-Praktiken.  
• Erfahrung mit Observability- und Monitoring-Plattformen wie Grafana, Prometheus und OpenSearch.  
• Eine proaktive und teamorientierte Arbeitsweise sowie die Bereitschaft, Verantwortung für technische Lösungen von der Konzeption bis zum Betrieb zu übernehmen.  
• Professionelle Englischkenntnisse (mindestens B2) in Wort und Schrift. Deutschkenntnisse sind von großem Vorteil.

As a Senior IT Systems Engineer / DevOps Engineer, you will drive the evolution of our platforms and infrastructure, making a key contribution to a secure, scalable, and reliable technology landscape. You will design, build, and operate modern platforms and infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability across our technology landscape.‍

Your Responsibilities

• Operate and continuously improve our Linux platforms, container environments, and cloud infrastructure using modern observability and monitoring solutions.  
• Partner with software engineering teams to streamline build, deployment, and operational processes across the software lifecycle.  
• Design and implement scalable platform architectures while driving improvements in reliability, security, and operational efficiency.

Your profile

• At least 5 years of professional experience in platform engineering, systems engineering, DevOps, or a comparable role.  
• Strong Linux background and solid understanding of networking and security fundamentals.  
• Practical experience with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud platforms (preferably AWS), Infrastructure as Code, automation frameworks, and CI/CD practices.  
• Experience with observability platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenSearch.  
• Proactive, collaborative, and committed to taking ownership of technical solutions throughout their lifecycle, from design to operations.  
• Professional working proficiency in English. German language skills are a strong advantage.
